The Township of Woodbridge expanded its Recreation Department by launching a phased restoration of a 184,000 SF, 45-year-old former tennis and multi-sport facility suffering from water infiltration and interior damage. Phase one focused on correcting all building envelope issues, including extensive roofing and wall repairs across multiple roof systems—metal roof coating, shingle and deck replacement, new EPDM roofing and insulation, standing-seam metal roofing at entrances, expansion-joint and masonry repairs, new gutters and downspouts, and full exterior wall restoration. This work ran from 2018 to summer 2020, with parallel interior renovations completed later that year. A new indoor ice rink with team rooms and public restrooms opened in 2022.
