The Pennsylvania State Capitol, an iconic American Renaissance masterpiece designed by Joseph M. Huston and dedicated in 1906, stands as a celebrated symbol of Pennsylvania with its 504,000 square feet of ornate classical architecture, including a massive central dome and elaborate decorative arts. Since then, VITETTA, a DRG Company, has partnered with the CPC and the PA Department of General Services on more than 110 restoration projects, skillfully integrating modern systems—such as HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression—while meticulously preserving and reviving historic details in spaces ranging from legislative chambers and the governor’s reception hall to the Executive Office Building (now the Ryan Legislative Office Building).
