DRG Architects provided full architectural and engineering services from concept design to construction completion for the renovation of the JFK Recreation Center in Newark, NJ. This major renovation of the recreation center, totaling $5,000,000, included updated basketball facilities, new flooring for basketball courts, creation of an indoor track, replacement of all backboards, removal and replacement of existing bleachers, redesign of weight rooms, updates to locker rooms and bathrooms, creation of a mezzanine structure, and installation of a new surveillance system.
